People often tell me that they aren’t being constant in their social media marketing because they don’t know what to say. As a professional social media manager, I know a few places to find that inspiration.
In this blog, I’m going to share with you five sources to check whenever you’re stuck for an idea. Never stare at a blank screen again…
1. Your inbox
What are your clients and prospective clients asking you privately?
If you are being asked the same question frequently, share your answers with all of your followers.
Give your followers the information they need about your product or service to give them the confidence to take the next step to buy from you or work with you.
2. Your website
Chances are you spent a good chunk of time writing the copy on your home page. On your about section. On product and service details.
Recycle it! Pick out a paragraph or two at a time and share that good stuff on your socials!
3. AnswerThePublic.com
Answer The Public listens into search engines like Google, then quickly cranks out every useful phrase and question people are asking around your keyword.
Enter one or two words about your product, service or the problem you solve.
You’ll get 100s of questions returned. Pick out the ones you can answer best and show that you really understand your customer.
4. Quora
Like Answer the public, but different! Type in your niche and see questions from individuals, and the answers people have given.
Scroll and see what questions you can answer in your marketing. Tell your ideal customer what they need to know right now!
5. Google alerts
And finally, the set and forget option, Google Alerts.
Set them up for keywords in your industry and have the latest news and articles delivered to your inbox, ready for you to curate and share with your followers, positioning you as the “in the know” expert in your field.
